I'm pretty sure you can only play itunes files in itunes, they are encrypted.

you could try and use "my music" and add the itunes extension to the audio extension list, and try and play it, if it works its ok, if it fails then gbpvr doesnt support it.

I'm pretty sure that you can play itunes songs in players other than itunes... like Winamp for example...
http://www.phpmp.com/entries.php/2004/02/416 If there's a plugin for winamp... can we make one for gbpvr? or port it over somehow?

whatever sub uses to plays music in gbpvr core, that is what will have to be able to play the itunes, a plugin could be written to use a different player (winamp etc) but gbpvr would be blind to this, so if gbpvr tried to play a music file/video file or anything, it would play at the same time, causing issues. so if "my music" doesnt allow you to play it, gbpvr wont allow you to play the files, so i dont like your chances.
gbpvr also doesnt allow you to play audio cds, which is annoying, but not that much of a drama.

And the MVP will never be able to play it until it is trans-coded to MPG3.
