Hi all,

I've made the move to Server 2003 for my setup and I'm having a few problems.

VRM9 doesn't work anymore. Any idea what I need to get this back?
If I use VRM7 or overlay, I have no overlay. This is currently the only way to get GBPVR to run though.

The resume button is Missing in action, even though I've edited the config.xml file to read:

<UseMenuResumeButton>true</UseMenuResumeButton>

The overlays are missing from both the server and my MVP. All else appears to be fine.

There are no hardware changes, only the OS was rebuilt.

Any ideas? I've been banging my head on this one for a couple hours Sad

Thanks!

I've never used Server 2003, but maybe you need to install DirectX9?

Hi Sub,

dxdiag shows directX 9.0c. I'll try re-installing it though to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Sorry, I dont know.

I do remember others have had this problem with VMR9 on 2003 in the past though, and I'm fairly sure they solved it, so its probably worth doing a search.

Sub you're brilliant Smile I updated directX and noticed DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D, and AGP Textures were all disabled. Turned them on & I have an overlay and VRM9 is back.

My Resume button missing seems to have been a lack of sleep. Seems you need to set the xml to true *and* check prompt for resume. I'd smack my head if it wasn't already sore from banging it on the wall that is server 2003.

All seems well, thanks!
