I'm playing with Sage TV as well, and they have a feature to adjust both the menu position and Live TV postition so that it fits your TV properly. When I run GB PVR through my TV out, it's a little tall and too far to the right (same with the live TV). I'm wondering if there is any way to adjust this, kind of like adjust the position of your video signal on your computer monitor.

There are some setting in config.xml that you can use to adjust this.

just in some cases video file playback (including live tv) wont be displayed, but the menu will (i used x=20, y=35, width=670,height=530) and video wasnt being displayed i changed y=30 and that fixed it, so if you get a bug like that just change a value and see if it works (i uninstalled, then reinstalled gbpvr, and was going nuts).

fischer98,

I have a 350 also and ran into the same problem.  I currently have my settings at:

 <PVR350Width>650</PVR350Width>
 <PVR350Height>460</PVR350Height>
 <PVR350OffsetX>30</PVR350OffsetX>
 <PVR350OffsetY>5</PVR350OffsetY>

This adjusts both Live TV & the GB-PVR OSD and menus.  I don't know of any way of adjusting the OSD and menu seperately of the Live TV.  Even with these settings, it is a little higher than I would like it for the OSD and menus, but if I shrink it down any more to where the menus and OSD look proper, the TV seems zoomed out, and looks wrong on many channels that place graphics on the top and bottom of the screen that are now floating a few inches from where they should be. Also, a couple of the channels, such as the WB, with no overscan show a dotted white line on the top of the screen which is very irritating to look at.

If you need to compromise as I did, you may also want to go into some of your skin files and re-position some of the text to bring them in line.  For instance, in the skin.xml file in the tv guide foder under the Blue skin, I changed the following line to read:

<DrawText text="TV Guide" loc="5,15" size="160,120" textStyle="ScreenName" align="Left"/>

I think the original positioning was loc="5,5", which made the TV Guide words appear off of the top of the TV screen.  I made similiar changes in the rest of the skin folders that I used, moving things here and there to where my 350 overscan settings and menus looked acceptable.  The only thing that is now getting cut off on my TV is half of the bottom line of text when you hit pause on Live TV.  Everything else looks good.  I can't seem to find a way to offset the positioning of that, and it may be hard coded.

yeah im having the same problems with the "blue" button in livetv/video playback the bottom line is cut off a bit, the "green" button (or mini guide) seems to be about 5pixels higher up than the blue counterpart. hopefully sub will put this in a configuration file soon.
