Ever since 98.13, my machine started crashing whenever there is signal loss from my antenna for OTA programming. Signal variations are commmon for me, and the crashes are happening more and more. When this happens, my machine reboots (similar to a sudden power loss), and I lose whatever I was trying to watch or record.

Windows log viewer indicates an issue with psiparser.ax, I asked Sub for help but he was not able to diagnose the issue. I am asking if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue, or if there is a way for me to do a more detailed troubleshooting in addition to reviewing the logs. GBPVR logs do not indicate a problem.

It does not appear to be a HW issue because of the psiparser.ax log error entry in windows logs. Your help is greatly appreciated, I hate to go back to an earlier release.

Has anyone else been having this with v0.99.5? If so, I'd be interested to hear.

You could try setting <BDAUsePsiParser> to false in config.xml, but you'll need to remember to put it back to true if you ever need to do a channel scan.

Do you get a new file created in c:\windows\minidump when this error occurs? If so, please zip and attach - this would give me a chance to corretc the error.

Yes, here is the last one which has the same timestamp as the psiparser.ax error.

hmm, odd. I was expecting to open the file in the debugger and see it claiming the error was in one of the PsiParser.ax functions, but its not saying that. The call stack at the time of the crash was

Probably caused by : ZuluTcap.sys ( ZuluTcap+1ce1 )
ZuluTcap+0x1ce1
nt+0x68d5d
0x822a2c78
0x822a2bd4

Is zulutcap.sys the fusion drivers? or something to do with the zulu video decoder? I'm guessing the former.

You are right, it is the driver. I do not use the decoder, or fusion software for anything. I can supply with other dumps if you like.

To be honest, I cant think what more I could do than identifying that as the component that caused problem. GB-PVR interacts with all ATSC tuner cards in the same way, but I'm guessing this specific one doesnt like something about how I'm doing this - very hard to tell what exactly.

Is there other versions Fusionlite that you're able to try?

I had version 3.2 for a long time, but I recently changed to 3.5 with the same result.
