I was working on getting the PVR150 Hauppauge remote working with GB-PVR and on one occasion I closed GB-PVR with the splash screen maximized. Now I can only have it maximized or minimized and nothing in between.

Please help.

Do you really mean the splash screen, or something else? ie the blue logo with water drops that flashes up for a few seconds while GB-PVR starts (then disappears). I cant see how to maximize/minimize/resize this window.

I'm guessing you're talking about the main screen instead, which is resizeable, and does remember its position. You can delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\WindowPosX1,WindowPosY2,WindowWidth,WindowHeight registry settings to restore it to its default size.

Wow that was fast!

That did the trick.

Thanks

One other thing regarding setting up for the Hauppauge remote; I thought that was what caused the main screen not re-sizing so I deleted the Irremote.ini file....everything was working well in terms of functionality of the remote in GB-PVR.

I re-installed IR Remote and now when I follow the instructions in the Wiki it works but many remote keys do not function. What is the best way to get back to where I was?

Also, once I do is there a setting in the ini file to map a button on the remote for maximizing and minimizing the main screen?

Did you hit the relevent "Fix Hauppauge Remote" button in config after reinstalling? - IIRC this adds the GBPVR part to the ini file

@elite

No I forgot about that, Thanks!

Do you know how to modify the IRremote.ini so that a button can be used to switch between Maximize/Fullscreen and Minimize or back down to some pre-determined window size? It would also be nice to be able to close GB-PVR with the remote as well?...

Thanks again.

Well, belive it or not the 34 button remote HAS this button, but the 45 button remote doesn't!!

BTW - sub (sorry if hijacking this thread) - re the window pos:
The "show in windoed mode" is unchecked in my case, and all is fine - it starts in full screen, which is what I want.
However, occasioanlly I will hit the ALT-ENTER to "Restore" the GBPVR window to a "windowed" mode, so I can let it run while doing something else (style PIP...).
I moved it arround and resized it to wherever I wanted it, but it seems to "forget" it from session to session (I guess due to the fact I start in full-screen, this positions are not kept, or are set for the full screen, thus "forgetting" the last position of the windowed mode).
If this is by design, will you consider "remembering" window-pos of window mode, even after going into full screen?
If this not by design... will you consider fixing it?
thanks (oh, obviously, this is minor priority... Smile )

Tried GBPVR a few years back and it was a no-go BUT I am really impressed with how much it has improved....it is really quite good.

Thank you!

I see from your post that the window position in the registry was the thing that did it for you :p - now that's a first...

Actually that (the registry thing could be an issue...need to do a little more testing) What really has improved is the EPG...years ago it was a lot more convaluted but now it is easy.
