Thanks, I was able to tune the other channels with that change.

Now, when I go to the program guide, select an HD program and select WATCH, I often get this error

Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often anindication that other memory is currupt.

I also tried to record last night and ended up with a 6kb empty file.

No problem with the OnAir application.

Logs are attached.

Thanks.

Zip and attach the logs next time it happens and I'll take a look.

All the useful log files in those two zip files are empty (0 bytes). Delete the log files, reboot, then reproduce the "Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory" error, then zip and attach the logs.

Took a couple of tries, but the last time I got the same error. A few times before, I got something about the device refusing the connection.

Attached are all the logs.

Both GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVR.exe.log are zero bytes long in that zip file, so I think you'll need to try again.

lol Big Grin we're not having much luck with this. If you reproduced the problem on your PC you'll need to disable the MVP while you do this, because the MVP logs take precedence over the PC logs. (ie no PC gbpvr.exe.log when running an MVP server).

...and I'm sure when we do get the logs, they wont tell us the cause Big Grin

You could try setting <BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser> in config.xml to see if it helps, but you'll need to remember to set it back to try if you ever need to scan again.

yes, this has been a challenge. I made the change in the config file you suggested and it may have resolved the problem. I tried it twice so far and it has had no problem tuning the channels. Does this give you a clue to the cause?

Otherwise, I'll probably be asking you why I can't scan in a few months (lol).

Thanks.

Its probably saying GB-PVR doesnt like something in the stream being transmitted by your broadcaster. Its hard to guess what that might be, with a transport stream file I can run through the debugger here.
