Showsearch plugin crashing

Can any one help with the error below, this occurs when i access Showsearch. Thanks for your advance help

That sounds like a skin problem. Try some other skin and it should be fine. I don;t know if the Contour skin is being maintained, but if so whoever does so might be able to fix it for you. You could also zip up and attached the *.xml files form the ShowSearch skin directory and I could take a look. When you crash, do you really mean crash by the way? The only real "crash" I see in your log has to do with the MusicPanel.

Thanks Jeff, I have tried using other skins (community skin, Plane jane and Blue) when i use the showsearch is when i get a not responding issue and i dont remember having this issue before. Attached is the xml file you requested. thanks for your help.

Those look like skin files for the video archive plugin; I am surprised they work at all. I'd recommend backing those up and then replacing the contents of the ShowSearch directory in your active skin with the version found in the blue skin. I don't see the named color "Vertical" referenced in the error message so that may be totally unrelated. If you look in the jeff subdirectory you should see a file called ShowSearch-PC.log and.or ShowSearch-MVP.log that will contain showsearch specific logging information. Posting that might be helpful.

when going to the wiki, it is warning that the showsearch test version is infected with a virus

Sorry; I posted the wrong link location. I have corrected it in the previous posting so you can try again. As to the virus, I suspect the problem is that some virus checkers incorrectly identify the installer I use (NSIS) as a virus. See http://nsis.sourceforge.net/NSIS_False_Positives for more details.
