I couldn't find this issue mentioned in the forums, but I'm hoping someone's run into and can help me out. I got my new card (ATI TV Wonder 500) installed and working with ATI's supplied PVR. I installed GB-PVR in hopes of using a better PVR, but I can't get it to work.
I defined the capture source as described in the wiki, and booted it up. Unfortunately, LiveTV doesn't seem to work. All I get when I click the button is a black screen (no error messages or anything). The Recording Status widgit (from the system tray) shows the card as active and tuned to the last channel I was viewing.
Using the Tuning Assistant, I was able to view video just fine.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Ian

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

What video decoder do you have selected on the playback tab of the config app? Dont use 'system default'.

I've tried both decoder options with the same results:
CyberLink Video/SP Decoder
Sonic Cinemaster DS Video Decode

I'm including the log files. In case it matters, I'm using the 64-bit version of Windows XP.

Thanks again,

I'm pretty sure its something to do with your video decoder (Sonic Cinemaster® DS Video Decoder). Every attempt in those logs seem to use that decoder, even though I could see in one of the attempts you tried to use the Cyberlink decoder.

Try this decoder: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gplmpgdec/

That worked.

Thank you,
