How to reinstall VA plugin and start from scratch?

As I am trying to start from scratch with the VA plugin. I first uninstall/reinstall the plugin. Then I run GetDVDinfo tool to populate the database the result is that only a handfull of my movies is entered in the new DB. The log reads the following:

How do I go about to do a fresh install of your plugin?

Just delete the video archive.mdb file from your main gbpvr directory. The plug-in will copy in the empty version from the jeff directory the next time it runs and will start from there.

That is the thing, I am doing exactly like that but for some reasons movies are not beeing entered in the db and end up in the log as I describe in earlier post.

Are you running with an MVP as well as a copy on a PC or multiple MVPs? That can cause the message referenced above.

HI again, Nope, I am using a straight forward PC setup. No MVPs and no client server.

Ill do some more testing and sending my logs this weekend.

I have now tested the suggested aproach on my laptop where I set up a simpler DVD structure. Deleting the db to force the plugin to load a new and clearing the logs. However, the same result as I get home occurs. Some movies (Brothers Grimm) are not loaded with a referens that it has been loaded by another process. In addition the first movie (Amelie from Montmartre) in the list is not loaded either with no explanation in the log.

Logs are attached. db seems to big to attach. let me know if you need it. I can say that all movies are added to FileMap table but not to the ArchiveTable.

I think I may have found the problem. I've uploaded a new test version to the wiki. You should delete you current video archive.mdb file and let the plug-in rebuild it.

Thanks Jeff, works alot better, still some outstanding issues though, will analyse and get back after some more testing.

I got it to work now, still refuses to load Brother Grimm though.. But Ill enter that manually.

However, I do have 2 feature requests which I would really get into a future release.

1. Grab the user rating from IMDB.

2. Option to not go towards Amazon in the lookup since I prefer posters and info from IMDB.

Any chances to get these in?

I have the user rating stuff on my todo list.

Right now the plug-in will take everything it can from IMDB if it finds it there. The one exception is posters, which it takes from amazon if it can because they are higher resolution. I can add an option to override this behavior.

I'd be interested in seeing your logs to better understand what the problem is with the Brothers Grim.
