Ability to record first run programs only

Also, channel 2 has a bunch of Zap2It listed as programs with a message that states Subscription expires: (2007-04-09) (I figured out what that was) MESSAGE FROM DATA DIRECT: The starttime you specified was invalid and has been corrected to 2007-01-20T00:00:00Z

Channel 2 is a valid channel for me - how do I tell if it is pulling the correct listing for my zip code? In the tv_grab_na_dd.conf file it has an entry like this:
lineup: TX77539:R

It had some other number, so I changed it to my zip code - is this the correct way?

OK, deleted the .xmltv folder and kept the default entry it displayed with asking me which listing to download, redownloading now to see what happens. I do like the subscription warning, just wish it would put it in a place instead of on top of a valid channel. - like channel 1 or something.

Also, in the file it lists Channel 2 as KNWS, which it is. Why is it displaying the Zap2It entry instead?

OK, the ability to save the XML EPG source issue only occurs on my 2nd PVR-250 capture source! The first source keeps XMLTV as the EPG plugin - is this normal??

Well, started looking around and now have Zap2It listings scattered all through my listings with the same message noted above! What is going on? Also, channel 2 does have some listings, but has Zap2It dispersed throughout, as does the whole TV listing!

OK, wierd, after exiting the config program, and trying to get MusicBox to run without blowing up GBPVR, I reran the config program, and it shows XMLTV for EPG plugin for both sources!!

Well, this is wierd - restarted the GBPVR box and now the listing looks ok!
BTW, how is the updateepg.bat file kicked off? Is it scheduled by GBPVR?

Hi mmatheny, I only check in occasionally these days and just saw your post.
UpdateEPG.bat is called by GBPVR before each EPG update, it's completly automatic. But you must move UpdateEPG.bat to the GBPVR folder for it to work.

Zap2It status messages...
Using the default settings, I-xmltv replaces aid Programming” listings with Zap2It status information. The listings will only be replaced if the title is “Paid Programming”, and they do NOT have a subtitle or description. In other words, there isn’t any useful information in that listing anyway.

You can disable this feature by changing “SET Zap2ItStatus=2” to “SET Zap2ItStatus=0” in UpdateEPG.bat.
The manual, ReadMe-NOW.txt, explains all the settings and what they do.

Multiple cards using multiple lineups...
If you use a single lineup for both of your capture sources, make sure they both are configured to use XMLTV and TVGuide.xml.
If you use a different Zap2It lineup for each source, the multi-lineup setup is explained in the manual.

Thanx Jim - I assume you are the creator of this jewel? Thanx for the info about paid programming - that makes sense! Too bad this can't be incorporated right into the TV listings applet!
