Can anyone help me get this card working in GB-PVR please. I have it sort of working but get no sound from live tv. Any help would be much appreciated.

Its probably the video decoder you're using.

I have tried loads of different audio decoders. It only seems to happen in live TV. If i record something off TV and play back it works fine. Im using composite in by the way (from my digibox) spent loads of time on this and i cant work out what to do next. Is this something to do with LPCM. I also notice that if i try to use the tuning assistant i get "connectpins failed" and then "connect pinNameCrossbarAudioDecoderOut to pinNameCaptureAnalogAudioIn"

Can you shed any light on what that means

zip and attach the logs and I'll take a lot.

I'm not really sure.

I did see one thing funny in the logs. Its seems to be trying to use three audio decoders.
Quote:22:49:37.109 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - InterVideo Audio Decoder
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - AC3Filter
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - MPV Decoder Filter
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - MPA Decoder Filter
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - Capture
22:49:37.109 VERBOSE - Adaptec USB Crossbar
I wonder if you'd be best to leave the audio decoder on the 'system default' setting.

It does the same if i leave it at system default.

Do you know of anyone successfully using an AVC-2310. Is it something to do the tuning assistant problem (connect pins failed). Or is it possibly because I have had mediaportal installed.

Maybe I should start again on a clean build?

I dont specially remember anyone using this device in the past, so I dont really remember if it has any problems or not.

Maybe, though it can be normal to get one of these errors with some devices. Can you run the filtercheck utility, then zip and attach the resulting filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6
