I have just started trying to get UbuStream working. You have great documentation and how to threads but I am missing some things, I am sure they are very basic but this streaming stuff somehow frys my brain
First, I will let you know what I am trying to do. I have another application that can stream out on UDP on 235.1.1.1 port 1234. It streams a MPEG2 TS.
I set it to broadcast and in VLC media player I can see the stream if I configure the network stream to UDP/RTP Multicast to 235.1.1.1 and in advanced options check stream/save and have it play locally. I then saved the config as a playlist called vlc.
Doing this I can open the playlist and it opens vlc to show what is on the stream.
I eventually want to get it to stream over to my MVP but for now, I would love just to get it in GBPVR!
This is where I am not sure if I am doing it correctly. I configured a station to point to the URL of the m3u playlist I configured in VLC. ("C:\Documents and Settings\Dad\My Documents\vlc.m3u") Since there is no website, I left that on blank. I chose VLC as my media player.
In media players I have VLC setup by pointing it to "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" and full screen to "-f"
When I start GBPVR and select the plugin I see "all stations and ungrouped" If I select ANYTHING I get an error : Error : Method not found : Boolean gbpvr.elements.list.setselected (int32).
Then I tried to setup channel mode and did a full cut and paste of the MVP sticky thread. When I try to launch the channel it opens a dialog box and the recording tray icon turns green, but nothing happens. Everything then locks up and I have to quit gbpvr by closing it from the tray.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
