Just recently had to use this tool to get all of my channels to come. I think it would be nice that if when you ran the TA there could be a batch mode and instead of a msgbox coming up you could just output the items to a text file. would save alot of copying by hand. Additionally if you wanted to take it further it may be possible to import this file to your channels grid on the capture device this also would seem like an easy thing to do.
@sub if TA is written in VBwhatever I can take a shot at making the output to text file changes if you would like.

That doesnt really seem to be very useful, except maybe in the US and Canada, where 99.9% of users will never have to run the Tuning Assistant.

In the US, channel 2 is transitted on the "channel 2 frequency", channel 3 is transitted on the "channel 3 frequency". In the rest of the world it doesnt work that way. For example, here in NZ I would see channel 3 transmitted on channel 11, channel 2 transmitted on channel 5 etc.

The Tuning Assistant was designed for this somewhat complicated approached used by the world outside the US. The idea is to run the Tuning Assistant and it'll scan through all the vacant channels until it eventually comes across a channel - the user then has to watch it for a short time to to determine which channel it actually is, so that that can know which channel they have to enter the channel number against.

Other countries also dont have the large number of channels like you do in the US, so we're usually only talking a handful of channel.

well I had to use the tuning assistant for all but like 8 channels and I am here in the midwest USA on Cable. It may not seem to be useful but it would be a simple fix to just output the data to a text file saves alot of writing. I had to do like 60 channels by hand with 8number freqs. took a bit of time. This is just a suggestion though. Good work Sub.
