Try downloading the latest version from http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...n/DVD2MPEG. The one on the main GBPVR site is old. The plug-in now uses the standard config.exe program to set its defaults. If it doesn't seem to work, look in DVD2MPEG.log. It should tell you what is going wrong. The plug-in handles most erros, but gives no feedback other than to write in the log. If you have problems, you can email me the log.

HI Robert,

Your going to hate this idea,

I have a few PC's that I play with, and have seen a few features with GBPVR and plug in's when I've added / removed things over a few versions.

It could be the good old, to many combinations for every one to try.

So, the answer I end up with, is

the good old, un install, re boot, and re install, just with the dvd2mpeg plug in , see if that works.

I know, it's life ..

Can you cheeck your config.xml file in the main GBPVR directory. it should have entries that look something like this:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
<DVD2MPEGPlugin>
<DVDDecrypterPath>C:\Program Files\DVDDecrypter\</DVDDecrypterPath>
<DVDPath>C:\dvd</DVDPath>
<BesweetPath>C:\Program Files\DVD Tools\</BesweetPath>
<mplexPath>C:\Program Files\DVD Tools\</mplexPath>
<tempDir>C:\Temp\</tempDir>
<AudioStreamIdentifier>0x80</AudioStreamIdentifier>
<DecryptCommandLine>/MODE IFO /SRC {dvdDrive} /VTS 1 /DEMUX 0xE0 0x80 0xA0 /DEST "{tempDir}" /SPLIT NONE /START /OVERWRITE YES /CLOSE</DecryptCommandLine>
<BeSweetPCMCommandLine>-core( -input "{inputfile}" -output "{tempDir}audio.mp2" -logfilea "{tempDir}BeSweet.log" ) ota( -d auto ) -mp2enc( -m s -b 192 -e )</BeSweetPCMCommandLine>
<BeSweetCommandLine>-core( -input "{tempDir}audio.ac3" -output "{tempDir}audio.mp2" -logfilea "{tempDir}BeSweet.log" ) -ota( -d {delayTime} ) -azid( -c normal -g 0.95 -L -3db ) -toolame( -m s -b 192 -e )</BeSweetCommandLine>
<MplexCommandLine>-f 8 -o "{outputfile}" "{tempDir}audio.mp2" "{tempDir}video.m2v"</MplexCommandLine>
<SkipCleanUp>False</SkipCleanUp>
<PanelShowRecordingStatus>True</PanelShowRecordingStatus>
<PanelPendingLeadTime>12</PanelPendingLeadTime>
<PanelDateFormat>9</PanelDateFormat>
</DVD2MPEGPlugin>
[/QUOTE]

The DVDDecrypterPath etc. entries are where the plug-in pulls the path names from. If these entries are blank (or do not exist) then the plug-in won't work. The released version of the plug-in would turn blank path names into &quot;\&quot;. The next verison of the plug-in will catch this as an error.

You can (and need to if you have not) set the plug-in configuration information using the config.exe program.

I vaguely recall Jonas's problem being solved, but I don't recall how. Maybe Jonas will write back in and let us know if the problem was fixed and how.

Great work Jeff, thanks!

What do you think about adding the getinfo programs to the postepg bat file?
