Hello all,

I have searched and can't seem to find an easy solution to this. I want to delete all my channels from the channel database so I can start from scratch.

Any help

Thanks

The easiest way to start with a clean database is to remove the gbpvr.db3 file, then it'll recreate you an empty database.

Otherwise you can drop and recreate your capture sources.

Thanks. One more thing. After I clean it up and start from scratch is there a way to put a number in front of a whole group of channels?

I have a viewsat STB and it puts the 2000 prefix in front of all of my channels that are coming from BellView Express. Is there a utility I can use to edit the database by adding 2000 in front of each channel.

Example - 115 would become 2115

Thanks again

There is no built in mechanism for doing that.

Is there an external way to work on the database with an outside utility? I find it hard to believe nobody has done this.

There is lots of utilities you can use for edit data in the database. One easy to use one is SQLite Expert from http://www.sqliteexpert.com/download.html
