NOVA-T-500 blank screen issues

Hi

I am building my first HTPC. Going well so far thanks to the help of this forum.

I have come across an issue now which has me a bit stumped. I have intalled a NOVA-TV-500 which installed fine and I eventually got it working in GBPVR. The problem is it seems to be really flakey :confused: the first time I view a channel it works fine ..apart from some uber slow down while the overlays are up. Then all of a sudden the picture will go blank ... no error messages. It doesn't come back either unless i reboot or wait a while. This happens in GBPVR and WinTV etc.

What CPU is in your computer?

Yeah, doesnt sound good if its also happening in WinTV.

system is:
AMD 64 x2 3500+
2gb Ram
250gb HDD
Radeon 850xt

i'm asuming it must be a codec/driver issue causing the overlay issue. As for the blank screen :confused:
