Can I stream my recordings in a non-local-networked environment?
I am under the impression that I need to have a local-area-network setup to be able to stream using gbpvr client-server setup.
I cannot create a LAN setup at home because the other computer is my work laptop which they do not allow (I do not know how they disbaled it) it to network in a home-style-network.
I can connect to my home router fine, and the bandwidth between the HTPC running gbpvr and my work laptop is very high (100mb cabling thru switch) so I do not have a bandwidth issue.
Expect I cannot create a LAN.
IS it necessary to have a LAN to be able to stream?
I read the wiki but it is not very clear to me yet.
Thanks a lot in advance.
