no audio no way to change channels

i have a plextor px-tv402u i'm signed up for an epg it shows all my channels but i can't change them plus theres no audio.
any help would be great. thanks

Did you install the software that came with the Plextor? It relies on some software components of InterVideo WinDVD Creator. This *may* be the reason for your missing sound.

Yes I did and that seems to be working fine.

The audio started working but I'm stuck on channel 6.

I can input a channel number with my keyboard and see it on the screen but it won't change.

did you press 'enter'? You should also be able to change channel, by pressing up or down, or by pressing ctrl-g to bring up the mini-guide.

I'm using a Lifeview TV Walker Mini instead of the Plextor, but since they're both based around the same chipset, I'd guess it's the same issue.

Try viewing some channel using the Plextor's software (WinDVD?), then going into GBPVR. It'll probably be showing that channel.

KingArgyle suggested in that thread that recording works - just not LiveTV. I've not had time to check if that helps.
