I am having problems intalling the gbpvr software after I download it to a subdirectory and click on it to install. I get the following error message:

Error 1904, Module c:\Program files\device\gbpvr\GBPVRWriter.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel.

Can anyone tell me why this is failing? I am using an HP Multi-media PC Model m1080n with Windows XP. I saw another error message that said that I needed to install V2.050727 as part of my .net Framework software. How do I check to see what .net Framework version I have installed - if any? As you can tell I am a novice to all of this. I purchased a FusionHDTV 5 USB system this past weekend and was told by the salesmen that I should use gbpvr.com software rather than the software package that comes with the Over the Air HDTV receiver that is part of this unit. Can anyone help me out here or direct me to where I can get the help?

Thanks!

You can verify in xp/config/software if "Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 " is installed.

You might also want to do some reading on the Wiki. :

I'm pretty sure thats because the .net 2.0 framework is not installed.

Thanks for the tip on the .net software. I installed .net Framework 3.0 and the gbpvr software installed without any problems. Smile
