I'm using ffmpeg to create thumbnails from programmes I have recorded and are now in my video library.
In some cases, the thumbnail -- a jpeg 720x576 in size -- is slightly blurred when displayed in the filmstrip preview of the videolibrary. When I look at the jpg in the standard windows picture and fax viewer, it is ok. I have it scaled back down to 310x248 for the preview image.
There are several episodes in each folder (Lost, Desperate Housewives) and the blurriness seems to be limited to the first two thumbnails in each folder.
Could this have something to do with the way the thumbnails are loaded/cached by GB-PVR or can I change some setting somewhere (or get glasses :-)). I tried changing the number of seconds into the film that ffmpeg takes the jpg from, but it didn't make any difference.
Thanks
