Hi,
As the title of this post states, I can watch tv in timeshift mode fine but watching live TV not in timeshift mode it skips so much its impossible to watch. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I cant see anything obvious in there. The logs look fine.

Does changing the audio or video decoder help? or maybe try Overlay instead of VMR7?

When I use Overlay the video is very dark and I dont know how to adjust the setting. I can change the display settings on my video card and it changes everything but the video. Do you know how?

Ok I solved the problem. Using Overlay Mode works fine now. Apparently video overlay is not adjusted by the software its completely driven by the video card that is being used. So I tried adjusting the brightness in my nvidia control panel but the video did not change. I tried adjusting the video in WMP but it wont allow any adjustments to the video if its using overlay (obviously). So within the nvidia control panel there is actually a drop down menu that allows for adjustment of the overlay video. I assume that it is the same for other graphics cards as well.
