Don't you hate the "it just broke on me and i didn't do anything"?

All of a sudden, videos running through GBPVR don't show yellow... (I'm pretty sure it's the yellow that's not showing)... The videos show just fine under media player... what did I do?

When you're playing in Media Player, it could be using a different decoder. To see, play a file and click File -> Properties. It will say a video/audio codec. You should be able to choose those same decoders in the Config App.

Only thing I can think of...

The decoder your using in GB-PVR and media player could be two different decoders. If the decoder is corrupted your using for GB-PVR, it may not show the same symptoms in media player because it could be one that is working fine. Just a troubleshooting step.

i disclaimed it Smile ... it's just weird, any other thoughts on what it might do. Could the cable have gone bad? (But shouldn't then give me problems under wmp?)

Did you try another video-renderer? I think ( ) WMP will use overlay. Did you check out your videocard settings (gamma etc)?

The cable TV coax or other input cabling to your card doesn't seem to be the problem. Do you have GB-PVR going out to a TV or a monitor?

Yellow is a weird color to be missing from a hardware perspective because a TV mixes Red and Green to produce pure yellow. If the red & green in your TV (or an S-Video cable) failed, you wouldn't see those colors either, the picture would be blue. Weird.

That problem would occur in WMP as well.
