Ah, good point. I've never played with the MVP. If that's the problem, I'm of no help.

Wiggle your output cable while playing some video and see if it changes. If it does then disconnect and reconnect a few times to clean the connection.

I've tried changing rendering. I've tried everything. Maybe it's not the yellow that's missing, but yellows are definately the most recognizable thing that's not there. It's not an output thing since WMP plays it just fine

Did you install the new RemoveAllYellowPlugin? Did you read the disclaimer? It says that yellows might fade Wink

Just to make sure: this is all happening on the same screen, monitor or tv-screen? Or is the non-yellow on the tv and the WMP-view on the monitor.
The whole thread is getting a bit confusing (not your fault).Wink

I don't have an MVP. Under Windows Media Player, the colors look fine. Under GBPVR, they don't. It looks like it's the yellow missing--maybe it's some other color, but it looks like yellow. The computer is only plugged into the TV.

WMP = good colors
GBPVR = not so good colors

Tried changing the rendering and the codecs to no avail

before you go and do all of that, if you know how to easily do a clean install of GBG-PVR, give that a shot.

easily do it means keep all of your recordings and such if you want to go back

I discovered the culprit--VMR9

Why? who the Frick knows... I'm now using overlay. Does anyone have thoughts as to why vmr9 is corrupt and how to fix it?
