Where did the yellow go?

If the video has the right colours in WMP, I think the problem can only be the video decoders, video renderer or any post processing filters you have installed (ffdshow etc).

yes, it's the video renderer ( wow, sub, i think you and i and posted at the exact same time the last two comments!) How do you 'fix' the video renderer?

Also try deleting any HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\ProcAmpXXxxxxx registry settings you might have.

the procamp registry wasn't there, so i guess no need to delete
i've tried updating directx, no luck. Maybe uninstall (doesn't look like that's an easy thing to do) and reinstall.

FIXED: For some reason the 'hue' on my nvidia card was all the way up to 100%. Who knows how that happened...
