Post the logs then, since that patch is now logging the time it asked Windows to wake up.

With the patched recording service the system did go to sleep by itself. It also woke up seconds later for no apparent reason. After the magical wake up, the recording service log had no new entries after the wakeup time (normal since it had nothing to do).

If I record something from the guide the main screen keeps saying "Next Recording: None" until I restart gbpvr. Seems like the main screen never gets updated unless I restart gbpvr.

It shouldnt have changed anything on this front. It was only a minor change to the time it requests a future wake for the EPG update.

This is normal. The Next Recording panel only checks for updates every five minutes. Its always been this way.

But with the patch installed it did wake up for EPG update (it was before the patch it did not wake).
What, me worry?

Ah, all good then. Sorry, I misread (skim reading again...).

Sad After EPG update today at 4:42 pm all pending recordings for reoccuring recordings are gone again. Only two manual recordings are listed in pending.

Logs attached. Would the db3 file be helpful?

Do you have an UpdateEPG.bat file? If so, what is in it?

Yes, it's attached. I use I-xmltv.

I replaced the gbpvr.db3 with a copy from yesterday, and pending recordings are back in place. Could a failed (interupted) EPG update be the cause?

I'm pretty sure this updateEPG.bat file is the cause of your problem. It is emptying the listings etc, without taking into account whether the listings can be succesfully retreived.

Try going without it for a while. The built in logic is much smarter.

Thought I’d post this here incase other I-xmltv users have this issue when using v0.99.12

In UpdateEPG.bat
Changing "SET EmptyEPG=1" to "SET EmptyEPG=0" will keep I-xmltv from emptying the epg.
