Skin Plugin missing file

I just installed the CS and skin plugin.
when I try to run the skin plugin from my mvp, it displays the error "Could not find a part of the path '<pathtogbpvr>\Skin\SkinPlugin\BaseSkins'.

Any help would be great.

i am having a similar problem when i load gbpvr in the community ws skin and click the skin button it says "can not find d:/ program files/devnz/gbpvr/skin/skinplugin/tvguides"

BUT when i load gbpvr in the default blue skin and click the skin button it says can not find \skin\blue\skinplugin\skin.xml

any help?

I think this was an error that they fixed in the installer. have you tried the newest setup file?

The skinplugin isn't designed for the blue skin, so that error is expected.
I will check out both issues later today. In the Community or Community-WS skin folder is an install log. Could you both please post those for me.

Try installing CommunitySkin_Setup.exe after you install SkinPlugin_Setup.exe. That resolved the same issue for me.

That appears to be the "fix".

I need to fix something in the skinplugin installer (the prompt to delete stuff isn't needed anymore and that is causing the problem)

The CommunitySkin (and WS version) setup needs to be run AFTER the SkinPlugin installer.

i tired installing in the order you recommended it did not work so i completely un-installed gbpvr and everything associated with it and tried again in the order you recommended same error. you said the long file would help. unfortunately i can not get it up here as it is too big.

I updated the SkinPlugin installer, so it no longer searches for an older structure and deletes those files.

It should work now with any installation order. Make sure you are using the latest skin version on the wiki as well.

WOW i don't know what you did but it works flawlessly now. AMAZING. Thanks a bunch. as far as the log goes i did not try to zip it(sometimes you forget the simple things). i have it now although i don't know if it will do much good. if you still want it let me know. and thanks again!
