I-xmltv inserting a *

Is there a way to have I-xmltv season record a new show with the * when the * isn't there.......I.E. say you only want to season record "it takes a thief" but only the new shows with the * but there aren't any new shows yet with the * for "it takes a thief" in the guide, I guess my question is can you add a * to a season record for a show so it will only look for the new * shows......

I-xmltv doesn’t schedule recordings, it just enhances the guide.

But.
X-Record (the CDK Scheduler part) allows you to type in (or change) show titles you want to record, even if they don’t appear in the guide.
This is what I use to schedule reoccurring recordings, and movies that are not listed in the guide.
