Any chance we'll some skinner create something similar? i.e. press a number key to select from an on-screen menu? Or would that be a copyright no no?

The number key paradigm could be used for almost anything in the current GBPVR menuing structure.

All thats required for the core screens is to change the Buttons element in the skin.xml.

I tried the showNumbers="true" as McBainUK suggested and it sort of works.

The problem with simply doing the showNumbers="true" is I see the numbers on the GBPVR menus but entering a number causes that "button" item to highlight but I still have to press OK to activate the selection. Also the menus shown on screen don't refresh properly and I get menus shown over top of menus when showNumbers="true".
