Totally clean install of 99.12 - NO add-ons, no added plug-ins, default blue skin - doesn't matter if I check Direct access to Hauppauge remote control or not - here's the relevent log section:

Forgot to state that once again, this ONLY happens first time I go into LiveTV and hit the Menu key on my Hauppauge 45 button remote. Subsequent identical menu selections work fine.

I've just spent quite a while trying to reproduce this, with all sorts of combinations of video renderer and video decoder, but I wasnt able to. I cant see why this would only be affecting you.

Post your logs again and I'll take another look.

Here's the logs - BTW, I could swear right after I did a clean install, it didn't happen, and I was elated - but then all of a sudden it started again.

For the heck of it, I renamed my remote.ini file and did a reinstall of IR32, then ran the 45 button fix - still same error. Wierd!!

Does it do the same thing when you use the keyboard?

Does it do the same thing for you with a different video renderer and/or decoder?

OK, I was going to ask what the keyboard shortcut is for the Menu key on the remote. Also, I will try changing the renders. I guess nothing in the logs stood out?

Its the Home key.

Other than the error message itself, no - nothing stood out.

OK, just tried this several times to make sure - if I start GBPVR, then select LiveTV, then hit the Home key, it seems to work fine. However, if I start GBPVR with the command line to go into LiveTV, then hit the Home key, I get the error.

I will try to get some more testing done to try to narrow it down to the exact sequence that causes it.
