Quick question. I have a clean install of 99.12. Recording is working without a problem. However, when I go to the Recordings menu, the Ready and Whats New are blank. They say "No new recordings..."

Why is this blank if I just recorded a program last night? ANything I can do to make it show the recordings? The recording-dump.xml file has the information in it.

My install of GB is on the C: drive, but my documents and recordings are in a folder on D:.

Thanks in advance,
Dale

View the Recordings screen then post the logs and I'll take a look.

Thank you for the response. The recordings screen Ready says "No shows ready to watch" even after recording a program. Whats New says "No new recordings".

Just can't figure this out and with a base install. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

I cant see anything obvious in the logs. Zip and attach the gbpvr.db3 file and I'll take a look.

I can only see a few recordings in that database scheduled for future dates.

Are you running on vista?

No. I'm on XP SP2+. I only have a few recordings scheduled to happen right now. The biggest issue I'm having is why my GB install isn't listing shows that were recorded. If I go to Video Library I can see them. But not under Recordings. I does show the Pending and such that are scheduled.

Thanks again for helping. This is such a great product and out performs any of the commercial ones I have tried.

I should mention that I have performed a clean install threes days ago. everything has been working as usually except this morning when the kids wanted to watch some of their programs - all recordings, including what was visible last night, are now missing.

might this problem not be related to the manual epg update bug?
