ZProcess: SRT Subtitles, causing error 424 Object required

Ok... I tried your new version but Zprocess wont start
I get a Run-Time error '424' Objekt required

ZProcess is installed in the default path and i used the install file. I'm on a Swedish XP and the "old" version works good.

Well I suppose we'll have to hunt for the error.... The Swedish Windows concerns me only a little, as I don't think I did anything OS Language centric...

I'd like to continue this troubleshooting in a different thread.

Ryno, when you do minor upgrades like this, you do not have to run and installer. Just a file copy will do...

So ZProcess won't even start.... Is that using MVP or manually on your desktop?

We may have to wipe out the ZProcess registry entries... Before you do...

Send me your logs... ZProcess.log and ZProcessRegSettings.log

In Swedish Windows, is the fonts folder, C:\Windows\fonts correct? or is it different....?

Frank, FYI

I cleaned out the registry settings and now the app starts with the usual questions about paths. When a get through the paths i get the same error again.

I don't have comskip installed, is it nessesery with this version?

No. The latest verswion should not require anything but the root back and override folders set and ffmpeg.exe...

You have helped me find a place to start working...


@anyone else... Would someone else care to try out this version and see if it works for you...?

Good news. I was able to duplicate the error. It's someone tries to use it standalone.

Yes, now the app starts but transcoding with MEncoder wont start. I have only tried on one avi and will try more later, i'm writing this one a train going to work

What version of MEncoder do you use? I only have a version that came with SimpleDivx and I don't know if it have any limations.
