Quick background p4 2.4ghz, 768mb RAM, FX5200, PVR-150
This is probably a dumb question, but I need to ask it because I've noticed a difference in the colour quality of mpegs when watching something which was pre-set to record, vs an unpaused livetv feed.
Are there different settings for these recording options? I am just setting up GBPVR, and was using the pause feature of Live tv to configure how I wanted the colour settings. I got it exactly the way I wanted it with livetv. To be absolutely explicit, I'd pause a show for a minute, and then resume it to see the quality of what was recorded during "pause" mode. If I didn't like a colour or brightness aspect, I'd adjust the settings and try again. As I said, I had it exactly the way I wanted it.
I preset some shows to record later that night, and when viewing them the next day, the colours on them were terrible. The picture was too bright, the colours washed out etc...
So here's my question: Are there different configurations for the video settings for these two recording options? Is there an option to configure the picture quality for livetv, or does it default to a particular setting?
Thanks!
