What causes the vertical line on each side of the rounded rect?

I've been focussing on XRecord leaving XSearch and XGuide (fastfind and guide2j) for later. It turns out those popup listboxes with the hanging tails you pointed out used for pending and recent recordings are actually drawn by fastfind code not xrecord code. Once fastfind gets fixed for skinning, xrecord will get those fixes too.

I know nothing about skinning themes. Does the plugin need to use a particular toolkit for those to work? The XRecord suite does not use any UI toolkit.

Another skinning bug ... what does the "Available" mean after the show name? When a show name is long, you can see it gets overwritten.

Available means the show is can be played and is on the disk. Sometimes in GBPVR you can delete a program outside of GBPVR, and it doesn't necessarily pick up that it has been deleted, and doesn't delete the database entry. In these cases, it should say Unavailable.

Nice! XGuide seems pretty skinnable already. XSearch has a lot of hardcoding. Even XRecord still has a bunch of popups that are somewhat hard coded. I'm not making any promisses as I'm starting a new job soon...

Formatting error, it's extremely minor ...

If a folder has multiple recordings, you can see that the selected show has a space between the end of the show name and the episode data. The unselected shows don't have the space.

Fixed in next release (no bug id logged).

I fixed this for the next release but it can still be enabled with the new FancyCorners element for those who like it.
