Whenever I try to "use" mdplugins, I get a GBPVR recording service crash. Let me explain a little more...
From the recording service log, I get:
2007-03-18 16:16:02.875 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: MDAPI Filter
2007-03-18 16:16:02.875 INFO MDAPI Filter not found. Disabling MDAPI support.
Okay, so I figure I need to register mdapifilter.ax. So I register it.
When I try to record using it, though, I get the little icon in the task tray, but then DUC20.exe runs my processor to 100% (it appears that this is M$'s way of collecting info when there's a crash) and the recording services stop responding. It looks like it finds the MDAPI filter, though.
2007-03-18 16:19:14.046 VERBOSE Preferred BDA Multiplexer: TS Mux
2007-03-18 16:19:14.062 VERBOSE getSetting(BDAEnabledMDPlugins)
2007-03-18 16:19:14.062 VERBOSE Enabling MDAPI
2007-03-18 16:19:14.359 VERBOSE getSetting(BDAAutoDetectTuner)
2007-03-18 16:19:14.781 VERBOSE New MDAPI Filter instance created
The only way to get GBPVR working again is to unregister the mdapifilter and reboot the machine.
Any ideas?!? I've been battling this for a week and it's driving me nuts!
Thanks in advance!
