Frequency of database scans for recordings?

I was curious how often, or after which activities, does GB-PVR check the database against the drive contents?

Sometimes something goes haywire with the results of what postprocessing.bat has done and I would like to fix it so it shows up in Recordings if I knew I was in the window.

The most recent instance is that I have last night's 24 as _original in my originals folder, but the cleaned up file with the name GB-PVR recognizes is missing from the 24 folder.

Anyhow, I'm sure I'm too late for this one, but if I can understand the way it works maybe I can smooth out problems in the future.

It only does this check each time it loads the recordings list from the database for some other purpose. It doesnt have a separate activity for this specifically. So this would typically be when you view the tv guide or recordings screen, or schedule a new recording.
