Hi,

I've looked through the forums and haven't seen my specific error (apologies if this is a repeat). Immediately after installing video archive plugin, when i try to run the configurator, i get the attached error window before the configurator opens, and as i was warned, the plugin list is blank.

after uninstalling the va plugin, no error message, and my plugin list is back. I've tried changing skins from "nuoro" (beautiful skin!!!) back to "blue" with no luck, but then i didn't think it was a skinning issue.

after looking at the config.exe-1.log, the pertinent info begins at "Error initializing menu plugin: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins\Video Archiver.dll" but i don't know what to make of it. The same statements happen in gbpvr.exe-1.log as well. I've attached these files as well.

[SIZE="1"]I'm running gbpvr v 99.05 on an xp pro system with the following plugins installed (bold == enabled)
TV GUIDE
RECORDINGS
SEARCH GUIDE
LIVE TV
MUSIC LIBRARY
VIDEO LIBRARY
PHOTO LIBRARY
dvd
WEATHER
fm radio
net radio
youtube
SYSTEM
EXIT

web streams (this is ubustream 2.0)

cheers from canada

Have you tried the test version of the plug-in posted on the wiki page?

you mean to tell me that nobody here has come across an error like this or can tell me what it means or lead me in a direction to solve this? we must have 1000 years of combined gbpvr experience here! :p

cheers!

dear,

I have the very same error.

I have GB-PVR 99.12.
I get this error immediately after installing he video archive + the community skin installer (both provided on the same wiki page)

I already had troubbles with my last version of GB_PVR because of oledb(I don't have the oledb driver insalled). Now I'm sure my db was sqlite when installing this pluging.

Well, since i'd been having other problems with my install of windows, i took the easy (lazy) way out and re-installed xp. i was using tinyxp or xp lite or whatever you call it. it's a stripped version of xp with a lot of extras removed, i suspect that some hooks for oledb (or some other dependency) were stripped out as well. Since i'd been having other issues with this install (time zone issues, country code issues) which had made me regret using it, i just replaced it with a legal copy. i know i COULD have farked around w it and gotten it to work, but long story short, gb v 99.12 + video archive now work splendifferously.
