I've been playing around with HTPC software for the last couple of days. I liked GB-PVR best, because the PVR part is what's most important to me and it seems to be the focus of this program. There is however one thing that Media Portal for example has the this does not:

In the guide MP displays the current time, so you can immediately see if a program has already started. It's a vertical line through the guide at the current time.

Any change this will be implemented in GB-PVR?

If not, any change of a clock being displayed in the guide screen? I've been running in windowed mode for the testing, but when I've decided on all the hard- and software for my HTPC it will only be run in full screen so no windows clock!

Ok, I'd like the first option better. But pretty stupid of me not to see the [Image: sad.gif] Thanks for the help, and reminding me to take a better look at what's right in front of me [Image: smile.gif]

Anyway, I've been playing around with the rest of the program since opening this topic. And I still like it. I'm going to remove the other progs and stick to this one for a while.

B.T.W. Why doesn't the next program in the guide turn green if I push the right button on my remote, but only after I pushed right twice?

Is this supposed to be this way?

This usually indicates there is something wrong with the guide data in your XMLTV files. Overlapping start/end times or possible duplicate entries.

yeah, I think a vertical line through the tv guide to indicate current time would really aid the readability.. it would be so easy to see where you currently are in the guide at a glance.

also, would it be possible to have a button to jump back to the current time if I've been scrolling off days into the future and now want to jump back quickly ?

a button to jump to current time is a good idea, i would use it. i often find myself exiting the tv guide, and reentering it just to get tothe current time.
