Transcode a DVD

I currently use a dvd ripper program to copy a dvd from the disk to my hd. Then I use the divx software to rip it into a format I can put on my phone. I can understand how this would not be something that should be included in Gb-pvr direclty, but is there a work around where I wouldn't have to run both visual programs. IE a batch file or plugin, or something of that sort? Which would remove the protections and then transcode to divx?

There is a nice DVD Ripper plugin that rips your DVDs to the hard disk (removing encyption etc), but it doesnt do the divx part of this.

Would it be possible to add a batch file to it that would convert it immediately after finishing?
