hauppauge hvr-900 no live tv

hello,

if tried to set up my gb-pvr for my hauppauge hvr-900, when i use the tuning assistent i find all the channels from my cable, but when i want to see them in gb-pvr with live tv nothing happens, when i set show status on i see that he finds my card but it goes back to sleeping after a few seconds. can someone help me?

Sorry but the analog side of this device is not compatible with GB-PVR. It lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder. It can only be used as a digital device with GB-PVR.

If you install Hauppauge SoftPVR on the same machine, then it might work, but probably not.

no luck for me but thx for the information, but why does the tuner find the channels and gb-pvr the capture device, isn't there any other possibility to make this program work for my capture card?

Sorry, GB-PVR is just designed to expect the hardware decoder to be present, but in this case it isnt.
