That's all Sub's fault, he's making the mvp to poular.Wink

My MVP purchasing seems to be turning into yet another epic. Still no MVP goodness for me!

I'll keep my order going with digital-fusion, but in the mean time does anyone know of another source of *available* MVP's (see my previous post) in the UK besides Ebay?

I'm getting a bit sick of Hauppauges distribution methods here. Everytime I want to buy an MVP it seems to turn into this kind of epic.

Dabs is showing 3-4 weeks again, after decreasing down to 1-2 days. This happened last time. It was Hauppauge giving delivery dates then failing to meet them. This seems to be happening again. I have emailed Hauppauge but have recieved no reply.

General note to Hauppauge; I do not want to purchase the Wifi version for twice the price. I do not want to go with Play.com who are asking for £70 for it ($140). I want a distributor *who actually has stock* when they claim to have it, and when I am promised a delivery date by the distributor on your behalf, I want to receive my item within a reasonable time frame afterwards, not pushed out again by another month, at least be honest!

/end rant

Yeh, what's the deal with the MVP shortage?!? It's not like everyone's getting them. I think they're reducing production so that you'll be forced to buy the mega $$ wifi version. As it sits now, it's almost cheaper (but less convenient) to buy a 1 GHz PC for ~$50/60 and use that. That was the allure of the MVP for me - ~$25 (used) and just plug-n-play.

chances of getting one seem low. I checked out a few sites, and availabillity is rated as 'not available', 'delivery time unknown' and even 'end of life'....

Hi
I had the same problem trying to get an MVP I ordered on before XMAS and was still waiting come the end of march, it seems hauppage are not supplying them anymore or that was what i was told.
searching dabs and other suppliers all had the same problem none in stock, I eventualy went for the wireless wMVP not exactly what i wanted and the cost was higher than i wanted too (probably why hauppage are not supplying the cheeper MVP) anyway I got it in a week of ordering from ebuyer.co.uk.
just trying to get tv and all working now.
Good luck on getting one.
Regards
Ian
