deleting recordings and comskip info

If deleting recordings it won't delete comskip info of recording, but it would be nice if it does. Also if the last recording of the show has been deleted, it should also remove the show's directory.

what are the exact names of files generated by comskip and where are they stored? i dont use comskip and i forogt to check for those files when delete files in "my videos".

The base name is the same as the video file name. The comskip file is a .txt file and there is also an option log file created with a .log extention. If you are using the video archive plug-in, I delete these files when deleting a recording and copy them along with the video when archiving a recording.

so the files are [filename -extension].txt and [filename -extension].log ?

Not with the extension, just the .txt and .log. So if the video is called show_20041201_08000900.mpg the comskip files would be show_20041201_08000900.txt and show_20041201_08000900.log.
