I have a rather odd problem.

I've noticed whenever I watch an in-progress recording from my HDHomeRun, the first time I skip in the file after the recording finishes, the video skips to the beginning. The timeline still shows where I used to be in the file, but every press of the skip forward button resumes playback at the beginning, even if I tell it a certain number of minutes to skip. The only way to get back to where I was is to exit the recording and then resume.

This only happens with my HDHomeRun recordings, never my Hauppauge recordings. My HDHomeRun recordings are in DVR-MS format.

In the attached log this happened during playback of Lost and Survivor.

Any ideas?

Just an observation really.... you have the HDHomerun, so it's not the PVR-150 timeline problem, but the symptoms seem similar. The jumping backwards even when skipping forwards thing e.g.

The thing is the file itself doesn't have the timeline problem. Once I stop playback and restart, the file plays fine.

The problem only appears during in-progress playback on the first skip following the recording ending.

I dont know. Its probably just some funny behaviour of the DVR-MS mux. I dont use it much myself, so cant say I've ever seen this.
