I know 24108 with the registry fix works since that's what I use and it fixed the trouble.

I tried all the drivers and the registry fix and every recording has the problem now. Originally it was about 1 in 3 until I tried to fix it.

Anyone know if the if 24229 drivers have any timestamp problems? Or if they require the registry settings?

I'm running under Vista 64bit, and been having some troubles with the media extender in my tv not handling fast-forwarding properly on some shows. Noticed that it's reporting invalid program length (0:00) for these shows, so I'm thinking that it might be the timestamp issue.

I recently did a complete WinXP + GBPVR Reinstall so thought 'd instll the latest drivers from SHSPVR

v.2.7.25057 http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=10830.0 (March 30 build)

I am not sure if these are the same drivers as

21 March 2007 http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/support...w_mce.html

but they seem newer than these.

pvr150_20_48_25037prerelease.zip http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s....html#beta

Note that v.2.7.25057 had the timeline problem. Applying the reg patch fixed it for me. So far, so good (2 weeks of recordings...)

I just installed the drivers above from SHSPVR site, they're dated 2/6/2007 and version 2.0.48.25037. The drivers above from Hauppauge site are dated 8/17/2006 and version 2.0.48.24227.

I updated my drivers without doing a hwclear and the timestamp keys were still there. I'm using 25037, no timestamp issues so far, but it's too early to tell.

This one is weird, but I have the same time stamp issue. I did not have this issue until I upgraded to the latest GBPVR. Now, when I try to skip through the grade section left by the comskip the machine will go back to the beginning or jump to the end. there is no rhyme or reason to which way it will jump, but rarely does it jump through the comskip section successfully. I may have to go back to an earlier version og GBPVR. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You'll probably find, like other users, that going back to an older version of the GB-PVR doesnt help. Some users have been using their existing setup for ages before their PVR150 starts causing this timestamp error. Going back to an older version, they find it still does it. Thsis timestamp issue discussed in this thread isnt a GB-PVR, and occurs in other apps two - its a problem with the stream the PVR150 encoder is producing.

As discussed in this thread - did you apply updated drivers, create the registry settings, then reboot? These steps should correct the problem.
