I'm running GBPVR, version 099.12, and I'm having a problem in that the tuning helper has lost two channels and is duplicating a third. It was fine until a day or two ago, and something changed, but I'm not sure what, exactly. No matter what I change in the configuration, it still does the same thing. Channels two thru 6 no problem. Channel 7 is the same as 8, and then no 9 or 10, and then everything else on up is fine. I went so far as to completely re do the tuner source, and then, re installed the whole package. No joy. Any experience with something like this? Thanks.

Yes, the tuning assistant shows the channels, it's good video of channel 8 on 7, 8 is 8, 9 is snow, 10 is a ghost /snow of 12. Thanks for the quick response. Any ideas on the audio problems on the 150 by the way? I've tried the tweak tool, and nothing works. Thanks again.

and is this the correct behaviour or incorrect behaviour?

I dont know which audio problems you mean, but audio problems with the PVR150 are pretty common. All I can suggest is updating your drivers - Hauppauge have had several goes at fixing 150 audio problems.

Ha. This would be incorrect behavior. There is supposed to be a channel at each of those...uh, frequencies? I'm sure of the exact numbers or anything. I live in Atlanta, GA, if that helps on the channel spacing.

I wasnt joking. Here channels usually have gaps between them, which would have made your described Tuning Assistant behaviour quite normal.

I'm guessing you've run some other TV software that has adjust your frequency override settings, breaking it for apps like GB-PVR that depend on the default settings. If you search for frequency override you should find some posts talking about it.

Right. I've installed all the WinTv2000 stuff that came with the card. I have new information. While looking around for a audio solution, I found a setting for the Microsoft tuning table instead of the card's own tuning system. I switched to the MS tuning table and bang, the same problem. How would I go about fixing this? Thanks again. I really want to get this working, as the software is the best I've found in a week of intense searching. A slightly more user friendly config utility is my only slight bitch. Of course I want power over every single aspect of the video and audio signal from the input on, but that's a little much to ask of anyone at this point. Smile
