Record to the end of the current show.

Perhaps there is already a way to do this... please advise if there is.

Sometimes I'll be watching a live show that I'm interested in and then I'll have to leave for a few hours from some reason. I want to tell GB-PVR to go ahead and record just until the end of the show so I can come back and finish it later.

I've tried telling GB-PVR to record the show using the scheduler, but since the show's already started it doesn't start up the recording.

I'm sure I just press the red record button on the remote for this. I'm not sure of the keypress for it.. Ah, the wiki would appear to show it as control-K

I've never had a problem recording a show that is already in progress but pressing the record button (when in live tv) is definitely easier.

thought: maybe you are trying to record the show via the on screen display whilst you are in live tv mode (and you only have one tuner).
