Recording Service Crash "SocketException: Only one usage of each socket address"

when i log in to ewa the recording service crashes and i have to restart pc but it only does it when logging in.theres another thread in support forum but i thought it might do better here.

I posted my info over in that thread since I don't think it an ewa interface issue...perhaps it is a web server type of issue....we'll see what sub comes up with.....

i decided to reinstall dot net 2 using the repair option rebooted and ewa started working again withoiut crashi8ng the recording service

Keep us posted on your stability over the next couple of weeks....I can go a few days without issue....

after installing 62 i had this again but reinstalling dot net 2 was the fix again

When you install the upgrade....do you follow the wiki instructions of stopping the service, deleting all the folders except the Bin folder and then removing the DLL's that are listed.....and after all that do the extract of the new release followed by the restart of the service?

There isn't anything mystical about EWA that could disrupt the .Net Framework install.....my guess is that is may have something to do with the compiled cache that gets created when EWA gets compiled (which the framework does automatically).

I do use the directions from wiki its not such a problem for me but just wanted to pass it by you thanks again
