weather plug in

I need a little direction about installing the weather plug-in. I downloaded the files. I placed the .dll files from the plugin folder of the download in the plug in folder of gbpvr. I placed the weather folder in the blue folder. I go to config and under the plug in tab I can see weather with a check next to it. I set the settings for my zip code and push okay. the recording service restarts, and when I open gbpvr there is no weather button. I tried a reboot and no dice. I am sure I misplaced or didn't place one of the downloaded files, could someone please tell me which one would make the plug in appear in the config but not in the app? thanks

it sounds like it failed to load everything, if you look under gbpvr\media there should be a folder called "WeatherIcons" with icons for the weather plugin, if its not loading well showing up, its probably that. also which version of the plugin are you using, the one on the plugins page is an old version, the newest can be found in the wiki.

the wiki is an online manual, where the newest plugins can be found.

theres a plugin section on the left side, you should download the latest version of the weather plugin there, newer skins are designed to work with the latest version.

is there a way of telling which version you have without having to go to the plugin folder?

if when you enter the plugin it hangs for ages on the main menu then displays the weather info its the old verion.
if when you click it, it opens the plugin displays a "please wait" message its the new version.
