Blank Screen after Live TV or Videos

Hi... like the title says... I am getting a blank black screen after escaping out of live TV or after watching a recording or plain video... this is after my upgrade to .12 I also reloaded windows before reloading .12 (because of stupidity reason)...

But I installed XP 2002 Media Center...

I know the system still works after the screen goes blank..
I have started hitting escape or enter after moving the keys
on the keyboard and it would start the next video or watch TV
again.... so I am confused why it is not refreshing...
