Download worked! I think it took the playing time to download, but that is still much faster than the regular download. I don't know how it would react if the connection was poor and I tried to stream too fast.
Thanks.

Thanks.

That's good news.....I did get the raw format working....but I don't think it provides any faster download....it just removes the requirement of setting a muxer for the output file.....it will use whater mux is being used by the stream.

I also set it so that the file downloads to the users home drive & home directory....which are environment variables....normaly it will be the root of the user directory......

Here is the update if you are interested....this one I will include in the next release.....

I wasn't sure how useful this feature was going to be because it probably takes the full playing time to download. However, it is much faster than downloading on my slow network connection and does look very useful. Thanks.

I tried the latest patch #2 and when I start streaming it doesn't pop up the run save cancel menu anymore. It starts streaming and says it is streaming audio. I cd'ed to %homepath% and looked for a file but I didn't see anything new there. VLC is streaming on the PVR machine, but I don't see a VLC running on the remote machine.

Thanks.

Now I'm all compfused... so....... even though IE is telling me I'm about to DL a 1.7GB file when I click download, I'm really not because it's being transcoded for downloading?? I really need sleep. Or did I not enable something so when I click 'download' in 'manage recordings' it will send me a transcoded file for downloading? Banana and eggs.... what?

No you are still clicking on download. Click on stream, then when the dialog pops up that lets you select VLC or WMP, there should be a download option also. See UJB post if there isn't. If this isn't clear I'll post a picture tonight.

I'm not so sure about the second patch. The first one worked fine, I'm not having much luck with the second.

Sorry guys....been tied up today......I see there is a bug if the launch in external player is not checked.....if it is checked it should work....if it is not you do not get the batch file download....
