G'day,

Firstly I'd like to say thanks for a great program.

One question, though - is it possible to zoom during liveTV and video playback?

I am running on a 4:3 monitor and am happy with the letterbox when watching 16:9, but is it possible to zoom in on a pillarbox so that the image fills the screen?

In Cyberlink DVD this is called 'Pan and Scan' with a 1.85:1 ratio. Is there any equivalent in GBPVR?

Cheers

Its not technically 'pan and scan' but you can press F7 to 'center cut' a pillar box image. ie, cutting the sides from a 16:9 video to fill a 4:3 tv.

Welcome to the forum Smile The F7 key toggles various aspect ratios.

Also check this thread if the 'center cut' option does not work for you.

I created a custom aspect ratio that seems to fill the screen when viewing a 'pillar boxed' broadcast because I could never get the picture to be completely full screen.

elbryyan,

Thanks for the tip. I cut your line into the xml file, but it has made no effect. All that will come up for the aspect ratios are auto, fill, pillarbox and letterbox. Could this be because I am using the overlay manager?

Yes. Aspect ratio with negative values are ignored when using Overlay.
